This time we´d like to present you Maja Zabokrzycka from Poland. Together with Konrad Iwanowski they were responsible for the organization of the National PAINT CLUB Competition Poland in Wroclaw.

These young people are involved in the process of the social and cultural revitalization of the Nadodrze district in Wroclaw. They were impressed by the idea of an international platform for urban artists as a competition. Here, on the street of Nadodrze at Łokietka 5, Poland's PAINT CLUB battle of 2011 took place.

Maja is a PR specialist and used to work for newspapers and cultural portals such as Gazeta Wroclawska or G-punkt. She is interested in art and design, city art, urban tendencies and the development of cities.

On the other side, Konrad is what they call a "wild writer". Graffiti is his life. He has developed himself through this art, but currently he defines himself more as a kind of architect and designer. Many of Konrad's decisions are influenced by the type of thinking that the city is like a big canvas waiting for him to paint on it.

Right now they're working with two foundations, Dom Pokoju and Visionica, and are coordinating the project of the revitalization of Nadodrze. We are very happy to have them as our co-partners in Poland.
