Behind every great PAINT CLUB event stands a great co-partner. We want to present you one of them: Vuk Oreb from Croatia who organized the PAINT CLUB Battle there as a part of the xSTatic Festival in July.  This festival has a tradition of bringing together various forms of urban culture, focusing on graffiti, hip hop, break dance and various forms of extreme sports and was a good choise to settle down the PAINT CLUB there.

Vuk Oreb describes himself as an art dude, entertainer, a pop culture addict and joker.  „I get inspired by a lot of 80´s stuff, LP covers, pulp magazines, comic books, all strange and unusual things - I love making lowbrow art, posters and T-shirts.“

His own project is called Rad Recorder, a so called man-made machine that hunts down all things rad and cool. He invites us to dive into the very essence of awesomeness and excellence. His credo is to make always cool things whether it’s illustrating, painting, graphic design or photography.

That sounds like Vuk Oreb is a creativ machine that’s full of new ideas, doesn’t it? „If it was up to me, the weather would always be like in September and every day would be like a John Hughes movie. Awesome!“, he tells us.

His constant companions are two things to catch images: his Canon 450D and Minolta X-370. But that’s not enough for him: comedy, writing, online publishing, theatre and music production are on his list.

What should we say more, Vuk? „Now enough about me, what's up with you, you seem cool, we should totally hang out!“
