During the Street Art Festival in Hasselt four creative teams competed against each other in a fabulous match. There’ ve been two rounds with different topics which are quite special. A bunch of cool prices waited for the talents, and the winner team could look forward to the qualifying for the international final in Berlin as well.

In the first round “Rock Legends” were next up on agenda. Caused by convincing guitar reef and headbanging illustrations the crowd carried Team Dzia & Ligone and Team Topo to the final.

In the second round the audience suggested “Scary Walt Disney” as the final topic. The battle has been fierce and exciting and has been won by the dynamic duo Dzia & Ligone!

Belgium has a growing collective of street artists and Street Art Belgium (SAB) made a point of documenting this art form. Via a brandnew smartphone application SAB simplifies the search for interesting artworks. The application uses GPS signals and can guide you along your favourite works. Think about a guided museum visit in the city, free and focused on street art.

In this way the PAINT CLUB as the growing institution for Urban Art and also SAB wishes to promote and document Belgian street art in a positive way.
