Good things come to those who wait. As The Weinmeister design hotel in Berlin Mitte approached us to create a unique PAINT CLUB chamber in one of their suites, we have been honoured. But we insisted in taking the time we needed to come up with a visual concept and find the right moment to launch this prefect match.

Various ideas have been created in the CROMATICS lab and are going to be implemented during the next days in the suite 101, which is being transformed into the PAINT CLUB chamber. The right moment for the launch is next Friday, 14th Octber 2011, as this is also the opening day of the STROKE.ARTFAIR in Berlin, which is the leading artfair for urban art in Europe.

The PAINT CLUB chamber will be connected with the urban art in various ways. We've teamed up with the Gestalten publishing house to offer an ever changing library of the newest urban art publications, which will be on a display. Furthermore, the upcoming start-up PAULSBERG will help us replacing certain objects step-by-step with their exclusive furnitures, which combine innovative materials like ultra light-weight cement and wood.

Certainly CROMATICS will curate artworks out of the international PAINT CLUB competitions. So be prepared to see constantly changing giant canvasas on the walls of the PAINT CLUB chamber. Moreover, the chamber holds a mystery, which will only be revealed by night, when the guests switch on the UV light. Only then they will see the giant hand drawn artwork from the gifted youngster DeeDeeKid, who paints the ceiling of the PAINT CLUB chamber during the next days at The Weinmeister.

The party starts at 6pm on the Weinmeisterstrasse 2 in Berlin Mitte with free drinks, fresh music and exclusive guided tours through the PAINT CLUB chamber. We hope that this exciting opening party is a small compensation for the cancelled international PAINT CLUB final 2011, which we unfortunately can't execute due to financial reasons.
